Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Go developer with expertise in Linux and AWS environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will actively participate in agile development processes, design and troubleshoot complex cloud-based applications, and collaborate effectively across teams. This role also involves contributing to internal resources, rapid prototyping, and ensuring the best customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Agile Development:
    • Actively engage in an agile software development life-cycle, including decomposing requirements, design discussions, estimation, and implementation.
  2. Application Design and Troubleshooting:
    • Design and implement multi-layered, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) structured, cloud-based applications in Go.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application layers.
  3. Prototyping and Collaboration:
    • Develop rapid prototypes to test and validate ideas.
    • Participate in pair programming to enhance collaboration and code quality.
  4. Resource Contribution:
    • Contribute to internal resources such as the knowledge base and wiki, enhancing the overall customer experience.


Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Web Application Development: Proven experience developing web applications, including the ability to showcase personal or professional projects.
  • Object-Oriented Language Expertise: Knowledge of Go, Ruby, Python, PHP, or Java.
  • Linux Experience: Hands-on development experience on Linux environments.
  • Containers and IaC: Proficiency with containers and Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud services such as Amazon EC2, S3, or other AWS offerings.
  • Additional experience with Ruby and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Superb communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within and across teams.
  • Strong adaptability to rapidly prototype and develop solutions in agile settings.
